More About My Story
Originally from South Africa, I immigrated to Canada at age 16, a transition that shaped how I understand identity, belonging, and cultural adaptation. My background in social psychology continues to inform my practice, particularly in how I think about power, social context, and the systems that shape our mental health. In our work together, I aim to hold space for both the impact of these systems and your unique story of resilience and growth.
When I don’t have my head in the books, you’ll often find me with my feet in the ocean, watching a NatGeo documentary, savouring a good cup of coffee, or soaking up any dapple of sunlight. I also enjoy listening to podcasts, spending time with my two dogs, and occasionally tackling a 5K run (sometimes enthusiastically, sometimes not so much).
My own journey navigating the intersection of mental health, embodiment, and spirituality is one of the reasons I was drawn to this work. I know how relieving it can be to have someone walk alongside you during difficult times, and I hope to offer that same support as you navigate your own path.
